Getting involved

Against the current

Contrary to the market trend, RESORBA does not succumb to the economic pressures that a medium-sized company in a highly competitive market, is usually exposed to. Rather, we consistently invest in the optimisation and further development of products and services. These include long-term collaboration with well-known institutes and university institutes in research projects, for example, in the areas of ophthalmology, bone regeneration, and tissue engineering. In addition, RESORBA is strongly committed to addressing current problems such as those encountered in protection against infections in endoprosthetics and septic surgery within the framework of congresses and advanced training seminars.

Sponsoring

RESORBA is a partner of the International Medical College IMC®. In addition to providing first class, high quality further training (IMC® further training), a freely accessible, online medical, university encyclopaedia (IMC WIKI®) and an online forum for dentists (IMC LIFE®), the IMC® also offers the first accredited Masters degree course in implantology according to the Bologna Criteria (IMC® Master Program). During the one-year postgraduate course for practising professionals, leading to the academic degree “Master of Oral Medicine”, doctors and dentists who are licensed to practice are able to continue training in special methods and the latest developments in oral surgery.

Since it is necessary to have thorough training when it comes to mastering the complex surgical problems posed by modern implantology, RESORBA supports the activities of the IMC®.

Sponsoring continuing education in surgery

RESORBA is a partner of the German "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Endoprothetik" (Endoprosthesis Working Group) (AE). The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Endoprothetik offers orthopaedic and trauma surgeons an exceptional continuing education programme on maintaining and restoring physical mobility. Since continuing education and advanced training is more important than ever in these times of continuous change and growing quality demands, we support the activities of the AE as a sponsor.
