STAHLDRAHT / STEEL WIRE
STAHLDRAHT / STEEL WIRE is a mineral product made of stainless, non-corroding steel alloys. Multifilament threads are twisted, or a purely monofilament thread is produced, by teasing out fine threads from molten steel using the finest dies.
STAHLDRAHT / STEEL WIRE occupies a firm position in surgical procedures where it is used as a non-irritating long-term implant in tissues that are slow to heal. The material is characterised by excellent tissue tolerability and unsurpassed tensile strength.
